Hwang Heechan's shoulder tattoo, meaning of holding

The tattoo inscribed on Hwang Hee-chan's shoulder, the main character of the come-from-behind goal against Portugal, attracts attention.

Hwang Hee-chan scored the winning goal in the third Group H match between South Korea and Portugal in the Qatar World Cup group stage on the 3rd, showing a top-off ceremony. In the process, a tattoo inscribed on Hwang Hee-chan's shoulder was unveiled.

The tattoo pattern is presumed to be a "pattern of life peace." It is the logo of the Life Peace Association, established by Jirisan Silsangsa Temple and Dobeop Monk. It means that "the whole universe is connected as one, and each other relies on each other as the source of existence."

In the design, there are plants such as trees and grass that live on the ground, animals that live in fields and mountains, all creatures that live in the water, flying animals, the sun and the moon. The bottom symbolizes a person.

Designer Ahn Sang-soo, a Korean typography master and well-known as Ahn Sang-soo, visualized life and peace at the request of the Life Peace Association. Celebrity Lee Hyo-ri also had this pattern tattooed on her left arm.

Designer Ahn Sang-soo preached about life and peace in lectures such as Hyundai Card Super Talk. Emphasizing life connected with animals and plants, he pointed out, "But the beings (humans) underneath reign at the top."
